Have You Heard (about) Hamilton Yet?

The Broadway musical “Hamilton” is as hot as fireworks on the Fourth of July, and now the Original Broadway Cast Recording is available at Glenolden Library and other Delaware County Libraries.

Lin-Manuel Miranda’s “Hamilton” is an original musical featuring hip-hop and other musical styles that tells the story of the founding father Alexander Hamilton and the birth of America. Terry Teachout of the Wall Street Journal calls it “the best and most important Broadway musical of the past decade.” (WSJ August 5, 2015). It was recently nominated for a record-shattering 16 Tony awards, including best musical, as well as in acting, writing, directing, dance, music, and design.

This sold-out musical was inspired by the book Alexander Hamilton by Ron Chernow (also available through the library system).

Or borrow the book or CD from the Library.

Please pardon our appearance while we do some remodeling.
